Ansell joined the Northampton-based outfit in early 2018 and was instrumental in assembling a team when it was needed.

Taking over at Fernie Fields are joint managers James Wayman and Fazel Koriya.

Wayman has been at the club for a few months now and has previous coaching experience most recently at Bugbrooke St Michaels.

Koriya (pictured) is 38 now and joins from UCL Premier Division side Rugby Town.

He re-joined Rugby for his fourth spell in September 2019.

The veteran winger scored over 30 goals for Newport Pagnell Town as they finished third in the UCL Premier in the 2017/18 season before re-joining Valley for his third spell at Butlin Road in November 2018.

The forward had a good first spell with Rugby scoring 11 goals in the 2012/13 season before moving to join the Diamonds in May 2013.

In second spell, Koriya featured mainly from the bench and left the club in June 2015 after joining from Rushden & Diamonds in January 2015.

He originally signed for Rugby in July 2012 from Long Buckby where he had notched 24 goals for Buckby as they raced to the UCL Premier Division title in the 2011/12 season.

A former Brackley Town, Rothwell Town and Bedworth United player, he left the club after scoring 11 league goals for Rugby at the end of the 2012/13 season and returned via AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

Former Bugbrooke reserve team manager Jamie Chatfield will be working as assistant.
