Striker Goes to Church

Striker Ethan Jones has left BetVictor Southern League Division One Central club Halesowen Town to join Southern Premier Division Central side Alvechurch.

The 21-year-old has made 9 appearances for the Yeltz after re-joining in August.

He spent his early years with Wolverhampton Wanderers before moving to Shrewsbury Town, for whom he played in the Football League.

Loan moves to Tranmere Rovers and Stourbridge followed before he linked up with Southport in the summer of 2017.

Following a short spell with Halesowen he moved to Welsh Premier outfit Newtown, scoring 7 times before the end of the season.

He signed for Hednesford Town in February 2019 but moved onto Evesham United just a month later.
