The midfielder has departed Barum and joined South West Peninsula League Premier Division East side Ilfracombe Town.

He made 231 appearances, scoring 41 goals as a Barum player, having sandwiched a period with Bridgwater Town in between.

Jenkins also had a spell in caretaker charge of Barnstaple`s first team earlier this season.

Ilfracombe manager Clem Bennellick said: “Jack is another quality player that will add so much to our team, he’s a top guy who fits the character we’re looking for. His experience will hopefully filter through to the other lads in the future.

"I have been a big fan of Jack’s for a long time and it’s nice to finally have signed him and got him committed for the season. Jack goes straight into our squad for Saturday and will bolster our midfield options".
