AFC Fylde reached the Third Round for the first time in their history when they overcame BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division side Kingstonian at Corinthian-Casuals ground.

The Coasters took just 9 minutes to take the lead with a strike from 20 yards from Jordan Williams.

And then in first half injury-time, Williams bagged his and the visitors second.

Eastleigh shared 1-1 draw at the Silverlake Stadium with SkyBet League Two side Crewe Alexandra.

The visitors led through Owen Dale`s 36th minute header – and they held that advantage until 4 minutes from the end when sub Marcus Barnes popped up to give the Spitfires a second chance and a place in Monday`s draw.

Sadly, it was the end of the road for famed cup fighters Altrincham as the National League North outfit suffered a heart-breaking stoppage time defeat against former FA Cup winners Portsmouth at Fratton Park.

Ben Close broke the deadlock to give Pompey the lead after 56 minutes with a fine volleyed finish.

However, 7 minutes from time, Alty were rewarded for their spirited efforts when they were awarded a penalty with less than 7 minutes remaining when Christian Burgess brought down striker Jordan Hulme.

Josh Hancock duly converted the resulting spot-kick and it looked as though Portsmouth would be heading north for a very awkward replay at the J.Davidson Staduim.

But in the 4th minute of stoppage time, sub Brett Pitman headed home Pompey`s winner.
