The
committee did not want to see the management team leave their positions but
appreciate the circumstances and respect the decision made.
Stone (pictured) and Grey have agreed to remain in charge until the end of the month and will
oversee the next four games with the home game against Haverhill Rovers on
Friday, 27th December as their last game in charge.
This
will allow time for the committee to appoint a new management team to take over
from the New Year.
Stone
and Grey took on the posts back in February 2014. The highlights of their
tenure include promotion from Division One as runners-up and achieving a new
club record of 14 straight victories, a record breaking run in the Buildbase FA
Vase last 16 and back-to-back Cambs Invitation Cup winners.
The
club now starts the process of finding a new management team with the desire
and passion to carry on the good work that has been put in place.
Those
interested in applying for the position please submit an expression of interest
to the chairman Bob Button via email to rsbutton@hotmail.co.uk by Monday, 16th
December. |
