The
31-year-old started his career with home-town club Aldershot Town, going on
loan to Chertsey Town, Staines Town and Salisbury City during his time with the
Shots.
He
then spent time in Leagues One and Two with Wycombe Wanderers, Shrewsbury Town,
York City and AFC Wimbledon.
Following
his departure from York, he signed for Ebbsfleet United and played a key part
in their promotion during his first season, scoring a decisive goal in their
play-off final against Chelmsford City.
Following
two seasons in the National League with Ebbsfleet, Winfield departed at the end
of the 2018/19 season.
He
joins Bromley having had a short stint back with Chelmsford this season,
scoring twice in 10 appearances.
