The still only 23-year-old will link up again with Adders` bosses Scott Rickards and Mike Fowler after playing for them at BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central side Tamworth.

Upton started his career with Burton Albion before being released by the Brewers and joining Wolves as an under-18 in September 2012.

He became a regular for the Molineux outfit`s under-23 side in Premier League 2 before being released and joining Tamworth in the summer of 2017.

He had a spell on loan with Sutton Coldfield Town between February and May 2018 whilst on the Lambs books and was a regular in the first team under Rickards and Fowler.

Upton told the club`s website: “I’m dropping down a few levels, but I’ll be playing for managers who I trust, and I know exactly what they’re about, hopefully I can find my love for the game again”.
