The
Swans revealed that Mahrez Bettache had stepped down as interim manager and has
been offered the opportunity to remain at Wheatsheaf Park as part of both the
playing squad and backroom team following his good work in recent weeks.
Kuhl`s
most recent post was as manager of Southern League Division One South outfit
Basingstoke Town.
He
is a highly decorated pro licenced coach having won promotions with both
Aldershot Town and Wycombe Wanderers.
He
also played a major role at Reading working under Brian McDermott, Nigel Atkins
and Jaap Stam.
Alongside
that role, Kuhl managed one of Reading’s most successful under-23 sides that
the club had produced.
He
became assistant manager at in September 2017 and was appointed manager of
Basingstoke in November 2018, resigning in September.
As
a player, he made over 350 games as for Birmingham City, Sheffield United, Portsmouth,
Derby County and Bristol City and also had a spell in Hong Kong with Happy
Valley.
