Thirty-year-old
midfielder Danny Walder has joined the Cannons from league rivals Ashford United.
He
signed for the Nuts & Bolts in July from another Isthmian South East
outfit, Faversham Town.
He
started his career with Gillingham, coming through the Priestfield ranks to turn
professional in 2007.
He
spent time on loan with Ramsgate whilst on the Gills` books and then signed for
the Rams on a permanent basis after being released by Gillingham, making 25
appearances in 2008/09.
He
spent the next season with Dover Athletic, playing 31 times, before moving to
Tonbridge Angels where he stayed for four seasons and was a key player in the
side which won the Isthmian League Premier Division play-offs in 2011.
He
went on to turn out for Sheppey United, Herne Bay and Faversham, where he
suffered spells out through work commitments before signing for Ashford in the
summer.

other new recruit is defender Nathan Gordon (pictured).
The
27-year-old joins from another league rival, Sevenoaks Town.
He
signed for Sevenoaks in June after spending 15 months out of the game through
injury.
His
previous clubs include Merstham, Tooting & Mitcham United, Wycombe
Wanderers and AFC Wimbledon. |
