The
23-year-old has linked-up with Pools on a deal which initially runs until Saturday,
18th January.
Shelton
came through the ranks at Burton Albion before making a name for himself during
a successful spell at Alfreton Town which persuaded Salford to pay a fee for
him in 2017.
During
his time with Salford he played his part in back-to-back promotions, helping the
Ammies drive up from National League North to claim their place in the EFL.
Earlier
this season he was allowed to join Pools` league rivals Woking on loan where he
scored on his debut to help the Cards claim a point in a 2-2 draw against
Barnet.
Shelton
is expected to go straight into contention for a debut when Pools travel to
Harrogate Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy on Saturday. |
