Two Fill the Gap at Widnes
BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West club Widnes have added two players to their squad to fill the hole left by two departures last week.

Youngster Eoin Ashton (pictured) has joined on a month`s loan from SkyBet Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

 

Ashton has featured regularly in Albion’s under-18 squad and possesses an ability to score and create goals.

 

He’s a hard-working midfielder who joined the Baggies aged 14.

 

Goalkeeper Tom Scott has also joined Widnes

 

Scott had previous spells with Kendal Town and Northwich Victoria before joining league rivals Runcorn Linnets in December 2018.

 

He left the Linnets in the summer of 2019 to join another league rival, Ramsbottom United.
