Joining
on a month`s loan from one of his former clubs, Vanarama National League outfit
AFC Fylde, is young forward Sheldon Green.
After
impressing then-manager Dave Challinor last season in training and in Buildbase
FA Trophy appearances, Green was offered the chance to impress on a full-time
basis.
Making
a few appearances on the bench in the National League, Green eventually made
his first-team debut in the Trophy, coming on as a second half substitute
against Biggleswade Town in January 2019.
In
the next round, Green made his most memorable contribution away at Ramsbottom
United, coming on as a late substitute to set up a late Andy Bond equaliser to
make the tie 5-5.
Meanwhile,
Milligan has brought in former Blackpool and Preston North End striker Brett
Ormerod to Irongate as part of his coaching staff.
Ormerod
spent part of the 2015/16 season as a player with Brig, making 25 appearances
and scoring 12 goals.
Goalkeepers
Lloyd Rigby and Mike Hale and striker James Dean have left the club, while Gary
Pett has also departed due to work commitments. |
