The
30-year-old is an experienced midfielder who signed for Bracknell in the summer
of 2018.
He
was virtually an ever-present at Thatcham in 2017/18, playing 58 times as they
won both the Hellenic League Premier and the Vase at Wembley.
Such
was his contribution he was awarded the players’ player of the year award.
Prior
to Thatcham, he had a spell at Binfield having previously captained Highmoor
Ibis (now Reading City).
He
helped Bracknell reach last season’s play-off final but announced his exit from
Larges Lane last week.
After
agreeing to return to the Kingfishers, Bayley told https://www.thatchamtownfootball.club:
“I’ve returned as I gained a real connection to the club in the Hellenic League
and FA Vase double winning season, where we enjoyed such long winning and
unbeaten runs. It was an easy decision for me as I know the club well and have
a good relationship with the people there. Some will say I’ve come back home!
“I’ve
been watching a lot of match highlights and the teams looks strong - and it’s
no surprise where Thatcham are in the league. I hope I can add to the quality
already there, and help Thatcham win the league and get promoted”.
