Experienced Guthrie Added to Kingfishers Squad

Promotion-chasing BetVictor Southern League Division One South club Thatcham Town have followed up the signing of Harrison Bayley with the addition of winger James Guthrie.

The 28-year-old moves to the Kingfishers from Southern League Premier Division South outfit Swindon Supermarine, where he had moved to in October.

He had played for Chippenham Town for the past eight seasons having signed from Highworth Town in 2011 but decided to move to `Marine after a lack of game time at Hardenhuish Park.

He is an experienced player having been part of the Chippenham side that won the Southern Premier Division championship four seasons ago and had played regularly for them in the Vanarama National League South over the past three seasons.
