Steve McGurk becomes the latest player to give his commitment to Clipstone as Taylor boosts his back line.

Taylor has turned to his trusted ally by bringing in McGurk, with the two working together previously at Teversal.

Gary Armstrong, who is in his second spell with the club, is another to have worn the colours of Teversal.

He is a versatile footballer who can play in several positions.

Former Cobra Olly Ashton has given his commitment to returning to the Lido Ground for the upcoming campaign.

Ashton played the majority of his games for Clipstone last season but was part of the squad in 2016/17 but struggled with injury.

Clipstone have also announced that under-21 player Oscar Govan-Greenacre has been promoted to the first-team squad.

The Cobras set up an under-21 team last season with a view to players progressing to the first team from inside the club, whilst working alongside local junior team Clipstone Colts.
