BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division club Radcliffe FC have signed young forward Eliot Goldthorp on `work experience` from SkyBet League Two side Bradford City.

Goldthorp was a 16-year-old first-year scholar when he made his debut for the Bantams in September 2018 in the Checkatrade Trophy against Everton Under-21s.

And the youngster came off the bench to score the decisive goal in the penalty shoot-out victory after the score was 1-1 after 90 minutes.

That was followed a fortnight later with a first start in the same competition against Oldham Athletic.

Goldthorp made his league debut last December as an 89th minute sub against Scunthorpe United - the first of two League appearances - the other against Accrington Stanley.

Those four first-team appearances whetted Goldthorp’s appetite as this season it has been back to playing for Bradford’s under-18 and under-23 sides.

In October, he joined NPL Division One West side Mossley AFC on `work experience` and he quickly settled at Seel Park, scoring a hat-trick in the 4-2 victory at Cleethorpes Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy and made 5 appearances in his month with the Lilywhites.
