Symons is a big target man with a never-say-die attitude and the 33-year-old has penned a contract with the Seagulls until the end of the 2020/21 season.

The 6`3” target man has enjoyed spells at several non-League clubs, including Worcester City, Oxford City, Clevedon Town, Cirencester Town, Forest Green Rovers and Gloucester City in what has been an eventful career.

He joined Hereford at the beginning of the record breaking 2017/18 Southern Premier Division South title-winning season, scoring 24 times in 52 games.
