Young striker Roman Campbell joins on a month`s loan from SkyBet League One side Gillingham.

Campbell has been on loan with Gate`s league rivals Enfield Town earlier this season, making a couple of appearances.

The 19-year-old started the season on loan with Isthmian South East outfit Sittingbourne, for whom he made 6 appearances and scored 5 goals in what was his second temporary spell with the Brickies.

Returning to Hartsdown Park is vastly experienced centre-back and former skipper Liam Friend (pictured).

The 31-year-old left Margate to join Isthmian South East neighbours Ramsgate in June.

He made 560 appearances at Folkestone Invicta and 97 appearances at Margate, captaining both.

The 6’4” defender achieved promotion on two occasions to the Premier Division with former side Folkestone.

Meanwhile, Saunders has also extended midfielder Kieran Monlouis` loan at Hartsdown Park from Dulwich Hamlet.

Monlouis has made 5 appearances for Gate since arriving from Champion Hill in November.
