The 19-year-old arrives at Dales Lane after a brief return to struggling league rivals Alvechurch.

He originally joined `Church in 2018 after impressing for Wednesfield in the West Midlands (Regional) League.

He netted 12 times on his first season at Step 3 level and was considered as one to watch in the future.

He moved to Stourbridge in June before returning to Lye Meadow in early December 2019.

The versatile Cook has been on McDonald`s radar for the past three years and he is delighted to finally get his man. “He’s a local lad who will bring added quality in the final third and is very different to what we’ve already got in those areas.

“He has the intelligence to get into pockets and score goals. What’s more he has the ability to play anywhere in the front four, so he gives us versatility and options, which is important for us.
