Despite a successful season on the pitch last season, unrest off it saw Camm decide he could no longer be a part of the club and handed in his resignation.
After a very turbulent start to pre-season with everything up in the air at the Langwith Road Ground, Camm agreed to return.
There is now change throughout the club, with a new chairperson and committee, and Camm wanted to be part of this new set-up and help move the club in the right direction.
Coming in with Camm is a Shirebrook legend from last season, Lee Widdowson as the assistant, Chris Timons as club captain/assistant and Alan Widdowson as first-team coach.
Camm told the club`s website: “It’s good to be back. I came in last season because I wanted to help the club and we had some great times on the field. Obviously, things weren’t going to plan behind the scenes and I felt I had no choice but to step away. I feel now that these issues are being resolved and we need to move forward.
“It’s going to be tough, we are under no illusions about that, but we will re-build and we will come back. We have a terrific core group of young local players that will have gained valuable experience last season that will play a big part for us.
“The players showed loyalty to us last season and that they`re again returning this season is fantastic. Now we have to get our heads down and get to back to work”.
