Twenty-five-year-old Oswell joined County in the summer of 2017 after winning the `golden boot` in the Welsh Premier, scoring 22 goals for Newtown.
He was player of the year for the Welsh outfit and also has European experience from his time in the principality, scoring twice in the Europa League.
Born in Northwich, Oswell started his career at Crewe Alexandra before heading north to play under Terry Butcher at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premiership.
After a brief spell in Australia, he joined Rhyl and then Airbus UK Broughton before making his name with Newtown.
The highly-rated front man scoring 29 goals in 47 appearances for Stockport last season.
His displays saw him win the Hatters` player of the year award and attract the attention of a number of clubs, with Morecambe`s Jim Bentley winning the race and place him on a two-year contract. |
