Goalkeeper Chris Rackley has arrived from league rivals Bracknell Town, where he had only been since November.

The experienced 27-year-old joined the Robins from Southern League Division One South side Basingstoke Town, for whom he signed for in March 2019.

He made his senior debut at 17 for Reading Town in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

He had a brief stint with Basingstoke after leaving league rivals Thatcham Town at the end of the 2018/19 season and then spent a short period with Isthmian South Central side Marlow.

The 2017/18 season was a particularly successful as he played 62 games as the Kingfishers won the Hellenic League Premier Division and the Buildbase FA Vase at Wembley.

Another experienced arrival is that of defender Matt Hall, who has moved to Chestnut Avenue on dual registration with Southern League Premier Division South outfit Hayes & Yeading United, having previously played for Northwood in a similar arrangement with Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

The 22-year-old re-joined Hayes & Yeading for a second spell in June.

The former Watford and Ross County central defender originally joined Hayes & Yeading at the end of August 2017 on dual registration with Hemel Hempstead.

He has also had a spell with Barton Rovers

And 18-year-old striker Recoe Martin - a prolific scorer with MK Dons as a youth scholar – has also signed for Woods having been released from Stadium MK last summer.

Last season, Martin (pictured) caught the eye of the likes of Newcastle United and Southampton after scoring 5 goals in 17 minutes as MK Dons' under-18s came back from 2-0 down to beat Leyton Orient 5-2 in March.
