Goalkeeper
Chris Rackley has arrived from league rivals Bracknell Town, where he had only
been since November.
The
experienced 27-year-old joined the Robins from Southern League Division One
South side Basingstoke Town, for whom he signed for in March 2019.
He
made his senior debut at 17 for Reading Town in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier
Division.
He
had a brief stint with Basingstoke after leaving league rivals Thatcham Town at
the end of the 2018/19 season and then spent a short period with Isthmian South
Central side Marlow.
The
2017/18 season was a particularly successful as he played 62 games as the
Kingfishers won the Hellenic League Premier Division and the Buildbase FA Vase
at Wembley.
Another
experienced arrival is that of defender Matt Hall, who has moved to Chestnut
Avenue on dual registration with Southern League Premier Division South outfit
Hayes & Yeading United, having previously played for Northwood in a similar
arrangement with Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.
The
22-year-old re-joined Hayes & Yeading for a second spell in June.
The
former Watford and Ross County central defender originally joined Hayes &
Yeading at the end of August 2017 on dual registration with Hemel Hempstead.
He
has also had a spell with Barton Rovers
And
18-year-old striker Recoe Martin - a prolific scorer with MK Dons as a youth
scholar – has also signed for Woods having been released from Stadium MK last
summer.
Last
season, Martin (pictured) caught the eye of the likes of Newcastle United and Southampton
after scoring 5 goals in 17 minutes as MK Dons' under-18s came back from 2-0
down to beat Leyton Orient 5-2 in March. |
