Higginson has already featured for Bromsgrove in two separate spells – one earlier this season – and returns ahead of their top-of-the-table match with Tamworth today.

The 20-year-old is a versatile defender who has progressed through the Harriers academy system.

While predominantly a left-sided central defender, he is also comfortable at left-back, his versatility and work-rate have seen him progress from the under-19s to the under-23s - where he was captain during the 2018/19 season - before his involvement with the first team.

He was named in numerous matchday squads during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 season before making his debut against AFC Telford United in January 2019.

Shortly afterwards, he signed his first professional contract until the end of this season.
