Central defender Hughes (pictured) joins on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two side Northampton Town.

The 18-year-old came through the Cobblers academy, joining them at the age of 10, and on completion of his scholarship was rewarded with a one-year professional contract at the end of last season.

He had a lengthy `work experience` spell with then Southern League Premier Central side St Neots Town last season, making 20 appearances for the Saints.

He also made his League debut for the Cobblers last season, that being in March in an away game to Cheltenham Town, thus far that being his only senior appearance.

He had a month’s loan with Banbury`s league rivals AFC Rushden & Diamonds earlier this season and was in the Diamonds side against the Puritans in both the League and FA Trophy games at Hayden Road though he missed the replay at Banbury due to injury.

He made 5 appearances for Diamonds in that spell and has just been recalled by Northampton after a second loan spell with them, although he made no appearances in that period, being an unused sub on 5 occasions.

Midfielder Wright who has joined on a dual registration basis from Vanarama National League South neighbours Oxford City.

He came through the MK Dons academy before joining City this season after being released by the Buckinghamshire side on completion of his scholarship.

He has appeared for City in the National League South, Emirates FA Cup and Buildbase FA Trophy this season.

Meanwhile, Mo Ahmed has signed on a dual registration basis with Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Newport Pagnell Town.
