Central
defender Hughes (pictured) joins on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two side Northampton
Town.
The
18-year-old came through the Cobblers academy, joining them at the age of 10,
and on completion of his scholarship was rewarded with a one-year professional
contract at the end of last season.
He
had a lengthy `work experience` spell with then Southern League Premier Central
side St Neots Town last season, making 20 appearances for the Saints.
He
also made his League debut for the Cobblers last season, that being in March in
an away game to Cheltenham Town, thus far that being his only senior appearance.
He
had a month’s loan with Banbury`s league rivals AFC Rushden & Diamonds
earlier this season and was in the Diamonds side against the Puritans in both
the League and FA Trophy games at Hayden Road though he missed the replay at
Banbury due to injury.
He
made 5 appearances for Diamonds in that spell and has just been recalled by
Northampton after a second loan spell with them, although he made no
appearances in that period, being an unused sub on 5 occasions.
Midfielder
Wright who has joined on a dual registration basis from Vanarama National
League South neighbours Oxford City.
He
came through the MK Dons academy before joining City this season after being
released by the Buckinghamshire side on completion of his scholarship.
He
has appeared for City in the National League South, Emirates FA Cup and
Buildbase FA Trophy this season.
Meanwhile,
Mo Ahmed has signed on a dual registration basis with Spartan South Midlands
League Premier Division side Newport Pagnell Town. |
