Row Add Another Striker to Their Squad

Following the return of striker Mitchell Parker in the week, BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Hartley Wintney have also brought back striker Sam Argent to The Memorial Fields.

The 28-year-old joined Row`s league rivals Gosport Borough in June from Basingstoke Town after they were relegated to the Southern League Division One South at the end of the 2018/19 season.

A prolific goalscorer for both Basingstoke and Hartley Wintney, he was attracting interest from other clubs both in Southern Premier South and National League South before signing for Gosport.

He started out on Southampton`s books and was with Hayes & Yeading United and Whitchurch United before signing for Hartley Wintney in the summer of 2013 and helping them through the non-League Pyramid.
