The left-back won the National League with Cheltenham Town during 2015/16 season and went on to have a brief spell at Sutton United and was most recently with home-town club Ashford United in the Bostik League South.

Saunders told www.maidstoneunited.co.uk: “George is someone I was aware of and to be honest I have been really impressed with him over the last couple of sessions. He’s a local lad and he had a really good end to the season with Ashford.
“Previously he’s won this league with Cheltenham, so he’s got experience as well and still only 22. For me he ticks a lot of boxes – a good size, a good age and will be a great addition to the squad”. |
