Long-Serving Manager Steps Down
Long-serving Danny Chapman has stepped down as manager of BetVictor Isthmian League South Central club Harlow Town with immediate effect.

An experienced defender in his playing days, he made over 200 appearances for the Hawks having first signed for the club in 2003 after spells with the likes of Barnet and Wingate & Finchley.

 

He left the club in December 2008 but returned in February 2010 and was appointed as the club’s manager in February 2011, leading them to the Isthmian Division One North play-off semi-final and then final as well as winning promotion and delivering the club`s longest unbeaten run.

 

However, after some 16 years with the, 9 of those as manager, Chapman felt it was time to take a break from the game.

 

The club have agreed to his wishes and have thanked him for his years of hard work and dedication.
