Having recently completed a loan spell with Vanarama National League North outfit Blyth Spartans, Mouanda agreed terms with Dunston on a deal until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old signed for Shields in the summer of 2018.

He had been on the Mariners’ radar for a while, having worked with the management team of Lee Picton and Graham Fenton in the past, having been guided by the duo during his time at Monkseaton Football Academy.

His exploits there earned him a move to Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers, and he spent the 2017/18 season at another Scottish Premiership side, Kilmarnock.

He joined Blyth Spartans on a season`s loan in June 2018 and then returned to Croft Park earlier this season.
