However, they do so still not knowing what division they will be playing their football in next season.
Last season Fleet featured in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One East and had a disappointing campaign as they finished in nineteenth place.
Their points tally of 34 was well short of the previous season, although it was more than enough to steer clear of the solitary relegation place, which went to Arlesey Town on just 14 points.
There has been some controversy following the re-structure of the non-League Pyramid this summer and Fleet were originally allocated a place in the Bostik League South Central.
However, following the resignation from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League of Shaw Lane AFC, a late move was made to switch the Hampshire side sideways to the Southern League West Division.
They have appealed this decision and are awaiting a result.
Fleet have been informed by the FA that they will hear their appeal on Monday (July 2nd) at Wembley.
After this, the club should know which league the FA will confirm which division Fleet Town will play at next season.
All this delay has been extremely difficult for Fleet`s new managerial team, who are trying to build a squad without knowing what division they`ll be in.
Following the resignations of last season`s management team of Steve Dormer and Andy Hunt, Fleet moved swiftly to appoint Simon Haughney and Martin Grey as the new joint-managers.
Haughney is a very experienced UEFA B Licenced coach. He has run his own soccer coaching company called ‘On-Side’ for the last eighteen years.
He has also coached in the USA and formerly played youth team football for Crystal Palace and senior football for Southall and Chertsey Town.
For the last two seasons, Haughney has managed Walton & Hersham, achieving top five positions in the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division each time.
Grey is also well experienced in management. Amongst the clubs he has either coached or played for are Hounslow, Southall, Egham Town and Walton & Hersham.
He also runs a successful financial services company based in Twickenham.
Their assistant-manager will be Paul Thomas, another UEFA B Licenced coach with a wealth of experience in non-League football.
