Yussuf began his career with Leicester City, progressing through the youth and reserve teams but was unfortunately released without making a first team appearance for the Foxes in 2011.

Spells then followed at Burton Albion and Lincoln City before he dropped out of League football and signed for Oxford City.

This is where he really made a name for himself as a top marksman within the non-League game, scoring 27 goals in 39 appearances.

It was that form that earned him a move back into the Football League with Mansfield Town.

After a few loan spells, Yussuf then signed permanently for Solihull Moors, scoring 19 times in 57 appearances, helping them to their highest ever league position of second in the National League last season and was the Moors’ top scorer with 14 goals.

Those goals and his performances earned him yet another return to the Football League signing a two-year deal with Blackpool.

Manager Luke Garrard told https://www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk: “I am really happy with the addition of Adi to our squad. In truth he was a player that we courted in the summer due to his season last year at Solihull Moors.

“His stats are very good for a striker at this level. He will add goals, competition and a winning mentality, which I’m thoroughly excited about.

“He will come straight into the squad for Saturday’s visit to his former club Solihull Moors, and I am really looking forward with working with him”.
