Evo-Stik Southern League Central club Bedworth United have signed defender Jake Whitmore from new league rivals Barwell.

Nineteen-year-old Whitmore joined the Canaries in the summer of 2017 following an impressive trial in several pre-season games.

 

The youngster is blessed with pace and can get up and down the field from right-back or from the right of midfield.

 

He was originally on the books at SkyBet League One outfit Coventry City and he adds more quality to a healthy-looking squad being built at the Oval ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
