Rovers Midfielder Loaned to Bluebirds

Luke Russe has joined Vanarama National League South club Chippenham Town on a month`s loan from SkyBet League One side Bristol Rovers.

Russe made his debut for Rovers` first team as a substitute in the 5-1 EFL Trophy win away to Wycombe Wanderers.

The young midfielder is largely part of the development squad but was included in the 24-man squad that went to Portugal in pre-season.

The tenacious midfielder made his League debut at Stadium MK in March 2018.

During the 2018/19 campaign, Russe spent a spell on loan at National League North side Gloucester City and now links up with former Tigers manager Mike Cook at Hardenhuish Park.
