Whites Take O`s Young IrishDefender on Loan
Republic of Ireland Youth international defender Shadrach Ogie has joined Vanarama National League club Dover Athletic on loan from SkyBet League Two side Leyton Orient until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old, who can play can play both centre-back and left-back, has made 2 appearances for the O’s since signing his first professional contract in February 2019.

 

He played for BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division side Hornchurch’s youth academy before joining Orient in 2018.

 

The Irishman made his debut for the O’s off the bench in the 1-0 Buildbase FA Trophy win over Blyth Spartans last season.

 

He made his full debut against Southend United in the leasing.com Trophy last September and won the man of the match award in the 2-0 win at The Breyer Group Stadium.

 

He has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at under 18 and under-19 level.
