Manager
Darren Kelly has brought three in on loan and brought back fan favourite Ryan
Blott.
Kieran
Glynn joins from SkyBet League Two side Salford City on loan for the rest of
the season.
Glynn,
a 20-year-old box-to-box midfielder, started his career with FC United of
Manchester, and after joining Salford he went on to spend time on loan at
Chorley, Woking and Southport.
Jacob
Gratton has joined from League One Rotherham United on an initial one-month
loan.
The
pacey attacker recently signed his first professional contract with his boyhood
club on Tuesday.
He
can play anywhere across a front three or behind the striker and Rotherham are
looking forward to getting down to the Flamingo Land Stadium to watch the
progress of the young man over the coming weeks.
Defender
Harry Spratt joins from Vanarama National League North side York City on an
initial month's loan.
The
19-year-old left sided defender will bolster Kelly's wide options both defensively
and offensively.
Spratt
started his career with Manchester United under-18s before joining Huddersfield
Town under-23s in 2018, joining York in the summer of 2019.
He
has made 7 appearances for the Minstermen during 2019/20 to date.
And
finally, Athletic's all-time record goalscorer Ryan Blott has made a surprise
return to the club.
Blott (pictured),
31, who bagged over 250 goals for Boro, left the club three years ago to join
NPL Division One North West neighbours Pickering Town.
But
after departing the Pikes a fortnight ago, Blott was invited back into the Boro
fold by Kelly.
Blott
also runs the club's under-19s alongside Denny Ingram and works at the
Scarborough Football Scholarship. |
