The
31-year-old has completed a switch from league rivals Mossley AFC 15 months
after departing Widnes for Clitheroe in October 2018.
A prolific non-League marksman, he joined Mossley from another league rival, Runcorn
Linnets in November 2019.
The
2018/19 season saw the experienced hitman finish joint second in the NPL North
West charts with 22 goals while serving Widnes, Clitheroe and Ramsbottom
United.
He
had ended the previous season with Colwyn Bay, having joined the Welsh club
from Glossop North End in February 2017 after netting 29 goals for the Hillmen
in 2015/16.
He
first came to prominence with Prescot Cables, where he stayed for close to two
seasons, before transferring to Marine AFC.
His
career really took off at this point with the then youngster's 28 goals in
2010/11 drawing attention from Football League scouts. His other former clubs
also include Chester, FC Halifax Town, Connah's Quay Nomads and Witton Albion.
Widnes
have also signed young goalkeeper Cameron Terry from another league rival,
Trafford.
Originally
with Vanarama National League North side Altrincham, the 19-year-old spent time
in the NPL with Clitheroe before moving to Trafford in November 2019. |
