BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Walton Casuals have brought goalkeeper Denzel Gerrar back from Isthmian League South Central side Staines Town.

The 25-year-old signed for Staines in June 2019 from the Stags.

 

He picked up the supporters` player of the year gong with Casuals in 2017/18 and in his time with the club, he also gained the record for the most clean sheets for Casuals at Step 4 level and was considered a fans’ favourite.

 

Gerrar (pictured) started his career as a professional at Millwall in 2013, remaining with the London club until 2015, which included a loan spell with Isthmian Premier side Lewes.

 

In 2015, he left Millwall and was picked up by Histon prior to a move to Sutton United towards the end of the 2015/16 season.

 

He spent three seasons at Walton Casuals in his first spell.

 

Casuals have also signed young midfielder Richie Mbele on `work experience` from SkyBet League One side AFC Wimbledon.

 

The 18-year-old is highly rated at the Dons and has spent time on similar terms with Combined Counties League Premier Division side Godalming Town.
