Midfielder
Calvin Dinsley returns to Evesham from Southern League Premier Division South
side Swindon Supermarine and forward Jamie Lucas from Southern Division One
Central outfit Halesowen Town – both on one-month loan deals.
Twenty-nine-year-old
Dinsley signed for `Marine at the end of February 2019 from Vanarama National
League North side Hereford FC.
He
joined the Bulls from Gloucester City in March 2017 having previously had a
month’s loan with them.
He
has played most of his football in the National and Southern Leagues having
also been with Kidderminster Harriers and Redditch United.
He
started his career in the youth team at West Bromwich Albion before having
short spells with Cambridge United, Evesham and Stourport Swifts.
After
helping Hereford to two championship titles he played 17 times for them in
2018/19 but found it difficult to recover his place in the side of a couple of
niggling injuries and decided to move on.
Lucas (pictured) is a 24-year-old striker who signed for Halesowen from Weston-super-Mare in May
2019 following the Seagulls` relegation from the National League South.
The
former Bristol Rovers starlet joined Weston for the third time in the summer of
2018 after enjoying two prosperous loan spells in the 2014/15 campaign which
saw him net 12 goals in 21 games.
The
highlight of the Welshman’s previous stints with the Seagulls was a hat-trick
in a 4-3 win at Bishop’s Stortford in February 2015 – which saw him claim the
National League South player of the month crown.
After
leaving the Woodspring Stadium, he played for Woking and Boreham Wood, in
addition to turning out for Somerset rivals Bath City. |
