After
a disappointing couple of weeks on and off the field, Rovers have kept continuity
and out of respect to the very tight knit playing group, Ashley Fuller and Dean
Greygoose will be joined by Steve Kuhne as their new management team after the
departure of Mark Duckett to BetVictor Southern League Division One Central
outfit Bedford Town last week. Greygoose,
55, is a former Cambridge United and Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper who has managed
the likes of Team Bury, Haverhill Rovers and Mildenhall Town. Fuller
is a much-travelled 33-year-old winger who is still playing for Rovers.
He
numbers Cambridge United, Cambridge City, Biggleswade Town, Kettering Town and
Kempston Rovers amongst his many previous clubs, joining Eynesbury in 2018.
Kuhne (pictured) brings a wealth of experience at this level and will work alongside Fuller and Greygoose.
Having
started his career as a schoolboy with Tottenham Hotspur, Kuhne went on to play
at St Neots Town and Arlesey Town before moving to London playing over 10 years
in the Conference and Isthmian Leagues. After
moving back to Bedfordshire, he played for Bedford Town before moving to
Arlesey and helping them win the South Midlands Premier League. After another
move to Stamford he won the UCL Premier League before once again playing for St
Neots and Potton United. He
has scored over 650 semi-professional goals with over 350 in the UCL. His
managerial career then continued at St Neots guiding them to fourth place in
the UCL Premier Division before managing the development squad and then having
spells in charge at Olney Town and Potton.
