BetVictor Southern League Division One Central club Daventry Town have signed wide midfielder Lewis Leslie.

The 28-year-old came through the youth ranks at Uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division Cogenhoe United to become a regular first-team player.

 

Although he missed the 2013/14 season due to a knee injury, he recovered to play 41 times for the Cooks during the following season, scoring 12 goals.

 

He joined AFC Rushden & Diamonds in November 2015 and went on to make over 60 appearances, scoring 12 goals.

 

In March 2018 he left Diamonds for Southern League Premier Division Central rivals St Ives Town.

 

He has since had spells with Desborough Town and Sileby Rangers.
