The 21-year-old won a contract with Pools in the early part of July 2018 after impressing during a short trial period with the club.

Most comfortable at right-back, he is a former MK Dons trainee who had been on non-contract forms with Luton`s then-Southern Premier League neighbours Dunstable Town before being recommended to Hartlepool.

He trained with the club for a week and in that time did enough to convince the hierarchy he was worthy of a deal and won his first pro contract.

He made a total of 73 appearances for Hartlepool.
