McBurnie, brother of Swansea and Scotland striker Ollie, has put pen-to-paper on a permanent deal at The Hive London.

McBurnie graduated through SkyBet League Two side Bradford City`s academy, although has played the majority of his football abroad, most recently with Swedish outfit Ytterhogdals IK.

Manager Darren Currie told https://www.barnetfc.com: "There's a real hunger about him, I like the way he speaks, I like the confidence that he brings. He's certainly shown huge potential in training so we're really excited to get him on board.

"He's the type of signing that going forward for me will hopefully bring not only something to us immediately but over a longer period of time as well. We think that we can turn him into a really good player".
