Summerly came through the ranks at Monkseaton Academy under South Shields joint boss Graham Fenton before he signed him for the Robins in his first managerial role.

And despite being aged just 22, Summerly clocked up an impressive 160 appearances in total for the former Buildbase FA Vase winners.

Clark told http://www.blythspartans.com: “Jordan covers many positions – he can play anywhere on the left side in different formations, so he gives us flexibility.

“He is a young player with a lot of promise with over hundreds of games for North Shields, so he adds a bit of experience in that sense.

“We have taken him until the end of the season and hopefully he can make an impact as we try to have a successful end to the campaign”.
