Peacocks Sign Young Bluebell
Promotion-chasing Taunton Town have signed attacking midfielder Luke Spokes from BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South rivals Yate Town.

The 19-year-old caught the attention of the Peacocks` management after scoring twice in Yate`s 4-0 away win over Taunton in August and again when doing the `double` over them with a 4-1 success on January 11th.

 

Spokes is an exciting young talent who signed for the Bluebells in August 2019.

 

He had a trial with Premier League Burnley towards the end of the 2018/19 season and joined from former Southern Division One South rivals Mangotsfield United, for whom he made 30 appearances in 2018/19, scoring 5 goals.

 

Previously with Hallen, he was spotted playing for the Filton Academy.
