Vanarama National League South new boys Billericay Town have signed Jake Howells from National League side Dagenham & Redbridge.

Howells joined the Daggers in January 2017, having scored 31 goals in 334 appearances for Luton Town where he played under then-Dagenham manager John Still.

 

He moved on to Eastleigh in the summer of 2016, but his contract was terminated ahead of his move to Victoria Road.

 

The 27-year-old joined Luton having originally been in Watford’s youth system.

 

Howells has been capped 5 times at under-21 level for Wales, who he qualifies for through one of his grandfathers, a and prior to this he made four appearances for the England C side, scoring in a 1-0 win against Estonia.
