Full-back Stelios Demetriou has joined Vanarama National League North club Bradford Park Avenue on dual registration with BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division side Haringey Borough.

Demetriou started his playing career in Cyprus with Apollon Limassol, Nikos & Sokratis Erimis and Akritas Chlorakas before signing Bulgarian outfit Lokomotiv Plovdiv in 2012.

 

He returned to Cyprus to play for Ermis Aradippou, Akropolis IF and Doxa Kataopias before joining Scottish Championship side St Mirren in January 2017.

 

After impressing in his short time at the club, he signed a new one-year deal in June 2017 and helped St Mirren win the 2017/18 Scottish Championship but was released at the end of his contract.

 

In June 2018 he signed for Scottish Championship side Ross County and then moved to Macclesfield Town in January 2019 before joining current club Haringey Borough.

 

Demetriou has represented Cyprus under-21’s on a number of occasions and made his senior debut in May 2018 against Jordan.
