Cook is a centre-back who came through SkyBet Championship side Sheffield Wednesday's academy.

He moved to the Dorset area after being released by the Owls at end of the 2016/17 season and, after a brief spell on AFC Bournemouth`s books, signed for Poole Town.

He joined Southern Division One South club Winchester City in the summer of 2017 and moved to Havant in August 2019.

Cook is joined by former Hawks` team-mate Jake Flannigan.

Flannigan arrives at Nyewood Lane on loan.

A midfielder who is also capable of playing in defence, he joined Havant in the summer having been released by Premier League Southampton where he had spent five years.

The 23-year-old spent time on loan at SkyBet League One side Burton Albion last season, playing one first team game for Nigel Clough`s side, and has been out on loan with league rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough earlier this season.
