Evo-Stik Southern League West club Bristol Manor Farm have appointed a former professional well-known in the area to their management team.

Former Torquay United, Newcastle United and Bristol City goalkeeper Mike Mahoney will be joining Lee Lashenko`s coaching staff for the 2018/19 season.

 

The Bristol-born 67-year-old was seen at The Creek a few times last season and Lashenko is delighted that the former Los Angeles Lazers boss will be joining him in the dug-out.

 

Mahoney`s experienced from 250 games as a pro – 157 for Torquay, over 100 for Newcastle United, including the 1976 League Cup final, and 4 for Bristol City – as well as seventeen years in the United States with Chicago Sting, California Surf and Lazers, will be invaluable.
