Phillips Returns to Church

Winger Joe Phillips has returned to help Alvechurch in their battle to avoid relegation from the BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central.

Church have received international clearance to re-register the Stourbridge-based player from JD Welsh Premier side Aberystwyth Town.

The 25-year-old returned to Aber in the summer of 2019 having made the move in the opposite direction to Lye Meadow in March 2019.

His first spell with Aberystwyth began in July 2017 when he joined from Total Motion Midland League side Stourport Swifts and played in the 2018 Welsh Cup final.
