Jake
Evans arrives from SkyBet Championship side Cardiff City and Aaron Jarvis from
National League outfit Sutton United – both on a month`s loan.
Having
spent 10 years in the Swindon Town youth set-up, Evans signed a professional
contract in April 2016.
He
made his debut for the Wiltshire side in a 3–0 win against Shrewsbury Town.
In
February 2017, Evans joined Irish side Waterford on loan until June 2017. However,
injury would blight most of his time in Ireland and his loan ended in May 2017.
The
following August he was sent out on loan again, this time to BetVictor Southern
League Premier Division outfit Farnborough.
He
was released by Swindon after that month`s loan and he joined Farnborough on a more
permanent basis before being snapped up by Cardiff in February 2018.
He
signed a deal to play for the Bluebirds development side and he has been a
member of their under-23 squad since.
Jarvis
is a 21-year-old striker who signed for Sutton in July 2019 after being
released by League One side Luton Town.
He
joined the Hatters in 2017 from hometown club Basingstoke Town, for whom he
scored 14 goals in 47 appearances.
He
made 4 first-team appearances for Luton during the 2017/18 season, netting his
first goal in a 4-0 victory over West Ham United under-21s in the CheckaTrade
Trophy.
He
then went out on loan to National League side Boreham Wood, where he failed to score
in 4 appearances.
He
was sent out again on loan, signing for Scottish Championship outfit Falkrik on
January 31st but failed to score in 12 outings.
He
trialled with Portsmouth before joining the U`s. |
