Weston Move for Avery
Centre-back Sam Avery has put pen-to-paper for BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Weston-super-Mare.

Avery’s contract at The Optima Stadium runs until the end of the current season, with a club option for the 2020/21 season.

 

The 30-year-old is a product of the Gloucester City youth development set-up.

 

He returned to the Tigers in 2014 after leading Shortwood United to a televised Emirates FA Cup First Round tie against Port Vale.

 

In 2015/16 and was voted as the players and supporters` player of the season and continued his stellar performances in the next three campaigns.

 

He made over 230 appearances for the Tigers and scored 13 goals before departing earlier this month.
